We Are a Nonprofit Organization

We are a grassroots nonprofit serving refugees, immigrants, asylum seekers, and other newcomer families across the Greater Philadelphia region. Founded in 2022, we help families achieve successful integration, stability, and self-sufficiency.

Our work centers on three core initiatives: Education Pathways, which expands access to learning and economic opportunity; the Mental & Behavioral Health Initiative (MBHI), which promotes wellness and family resilience; and Policy Advocacy & Direct Action through the Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition (PIC), where we advance immigrant rights and strengthen community leadership.

From its Community Resources and Learning Center in West Philadelphia, CIMS provides culturally and linguistically accessible services that help newcomers navigate challenges, access opportunities, and build a sense of belonging.
